A recent study suggests that high-intensity yoga is the most effective exercise for improving sleep quality, outperforming other activities such as walking and resistance training. Conducted by researchers at Harbin Sport University, the meta-analysis involved over 2,500 participants and indicated that practicing yoga twice a week for under 30 minutes can significantly aid those with sleep disturbances. While these findings contradict a previous analysis favoring aerobic exercise for sleep improvement, they highlight the unique benefits of yoga in regulating both the body and mind for better sleep.
