How usage works

One unit: the AI call.

One AI call is one piece of AI work: a question answered in chat, a Memory lookup from Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP tool, or a page's auto highlight, tag or summary.

Never counts: save, highlight, comment, tag, share, folders and search.

Need more? $40 per 1,000 extra calls, 4 cents each. At your limit, AI pauses until next month or you add calls. Nothing else stops. Nothing charged without your OK.

How many AI calls will I use?

One question, one call. Business gives each person 300 a month, about 15 a work day, pooled so heavy and light users balance out.

What is a workspace?

Your company on Kontxt. People who sign up with your email domain join it and share its memory, with the permissions you set.

How does the trial work?

Every new account gets Business for 7 days, no card needed. After that you stay on Starter unless you upgrade.

What happens at the limit?

Only AI pauses. Pages, highlights, sharing and search keep working. Add 1,000 calls for $40 or wait until next month.

Can Claude or ChatGPT use my Kontxt?

Yes. Any MCP tool can ask Kontxt for your context. Each lookup is one AI call and returns only what you're allowed to see.

Is there a storage limit?

Starter keeps up to 1,000 saved pages. Business is 10 GB a person. Enterprise is sized with you.
